Newcastle on the east coast of the Irish Sea Fly or sail to Northern Ireland directly to Belfast or into Dublin and travel north. Newcastle is a handy one hour drive from Belfast and two hours from Dublin making it a good first or last stop on your holiday.

From Dublin
Follow N1 north via Drogheda and Dundalk, crossing into Northern Ireland near Newry. From Newry take the A25 to Rathfriland and Castlewellan. Turn right in Castlewellan A50, and it is approximately 4 miles to Newcastle
From Belfast and Larne
Take the M2 from Larne to Belfast. Follow A24 south through Carryduff, Ballynahinch, Clough and Dundrum to Newcastle.

from A50. Turn right onto Tollymore Road and first right onto Middle Tollymore Road. We are 600yds on left hand side of the road

To Oakleigh House from Newcastle, take B180 to Bryansford. Turn right onto Tollymore Road, left onto Middle Tollymore Road and we are 600yds on left.
To Oakleigh House from Bryansford, follow B180 towards Newcastle till reaching entrance gates to Tollymore Park. Exactly opposite the gates is a left turn onto Middle Tollymore Road. We are 700yds on the right.
